Ok, this one's for the wine lovers in our group... or anyone who wants to enjoy and learn more about wine!!
It's harvest season, aka primo season, aka this is *the* time to go visit wineries! I've reserved a charter bus for us, and made special arrangements with 3 different Virginia wineries, for a Sunday bus winery tour! Some of you may know that Virginia is considered the "NAPA Valley of the East"... but remember NAPA makes auto parts, Virginia makes wine (ok ok, not only is it cheesy, but it's also a repeat from the last posting).
We'll have our very own chauffer taking us from vineyard to vineyard, then back home again safely! We'll be visiting my favorite winery from the last trip (Pearmund) and two new ones I've heard are *really* good (Chrysalis, La Grange). Detailed itinerary to be provided when we meet up. So let's again experience Virginia's beautiful landscape as we taste local wine flavors along the way. During this relaxing all day autumn tour, you'll:
. sample some of the best regional wines from unique and different vineyards
. learn about the wine making process
. spend over an hour at each winery
. walk through the vineyards, and tour the barrel rooms
. nibble on cheese and crackers
. take in scenery as you enjoy your new favorite wine
. bring your own lunch or...
. purchase winery's breads, cheeses, and jams for a picnic while you're there
. sit back and relax on your way home!
We are also eligible for discounts on wine bottle purchases!... and wine tasting fees *are* included in your ticket price! Lunch is not, so we *highly* recommend you pack a couple of sandwiches.
We've got an early bird special for this event. From now until October 5th, the price is just $50, yup $50! After that, it will go up to $60. Secure your slot by rsvp'ing yes *and* making payment! Come join us as we spend a pleasant and relaxing day amongst other wine lovers from our group!

We'll meet up at Ballston Metro stop (Orange line). We recommend using wmata for travel planning.

Since Jared and I paid in advance for this charter, and since there are limited seats, all sales are final. If you can't make it, we'll help you find a replacement. Hopefully you understand we can't have people cancelling and requesting a refund, when that spot could have been filled by others. Thanks for understanding. =)
Refunds offered if:
Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
